Doggie Amour was born out of a dream to provide a safe and comfortable grooming environment for all dogs, a hope to make a difference, and out of love for our beloved 4 legged friends. Walk into Doggie Amour, you can immediately notice the difference, from the clean and cosy environment to the warm greetings from the groomers. If you have been to us, it's likely we know you and your doggie's name, we remember your doggie's preferred hair cut, we apply our professional skill and knowledge to meet your expectations, and create the perfect groom you and your doggie would love. Most important of all, we love and care for all dogs who walk through our door the same way we would love and care for our own.
Doggie Amour caters for doggies who are more anxious in nature, or deemed hard-to-groom by other groomers, we go to great length to ensure the safety and comfort of all of our doggie clients. We care more, simply because, well, that's how we think it should be!

"Many of our regulars are dogs that were deemed impossible to groom by other groomers, either because they behave too agressively or too anxiously when they are at the groomer's.
The fact is, sometimes, all they need is a little more love and comforting to ease their anxiety. Intelligent beings as they are, a dog could always tell if you genuinly care about them or not, they need to feel comfortable with you, and trust you enough to allow you to handle them.
This is one of the first things our groomers get taught when they start working at Doggie Amour. Our groomers know that our furry clients are never to be treated as a number, but someone we need to get to know, understand and love. No dog is truely ungroomable if you groom with your heart."
